Due to technical problems and damage to the Fyra V250 train carriages as a result of the winter weather, SNCB and NS Hispeed have decided as a precaution and until further notice not to drive any more Fyra V250 trains carrying passengers between Amsterdam and Brussels. Test drives will be conducted. SNCB and NS Hispeed regret this decision and apologize for the impact on the travel plans of their customers.

International Fyra tickets remain valid on the day of validity if travel takes place between Amsterdam and Brussels via Roosendaal.Customers who opt not to travel can cancel their international Fyra tickets at no charge at the original point of sale. Customers who booked their tickets online at SNCB can call about this to +32 (0)70 79 79 79 (€ 0.30/min.). Customers who booked their tickets with NS Hispeed can use the free telephone number, +31 (0)800-0230261.

 

Fyra will continue to travel between Amsterdam and Breda

For the sake of clarity: this only has to do with the stoppage of Fyra’s international train service between Amsterdam and Brussels. Fyra will travel continue to travel as normal on the domestic route in the Netherlands between Amsterdam and Breda. For more information, please consult NSHispeed.nl.
